Headteacher’s Notes 7th June

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. Thank you for your support in ensuring that the students have returned from the half-term break ready to learn and engaging well with their studies. It has been particularly impressive to see how students have got stuck into a range of activities this week. A particular highlight for me was the Sixth Form Charity Day which has taken place today. The Sixth Form are raising money for Dementia UK and have organised a series of fundraising events including a Cake Sale and a “Sponge the Teacher” event at lunch time! The Year 11s and 13s are deep into their exam season but can now see the end in sight. We wish them all the best. A big well done to Iolo Foat in Year 12 who prepared the whole school assembly this week about the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings.
