Dear Families,
Many thanks for joining me this week for the latest edition of the Headteacher’s Notes. A huge thank you to the students involved in hosting students from our sister school in Beijing. Over the last three days, 39 students from Beijing have been joining our lessons and spending time with Tytherington youngsters. It has been wonderful to see both sets of students getting to know each other and making new friends. It is a reminder that although the youngsters are from different ends of the earth and live under very different political cultures, they were still able to find a way to communicate and become friends. Thank you to everyone involved. Many of our Year 7s visited the local cinema on a reward trips. Thank you to everyone who took part in Wednesday’s Christmas Jumper Day and Santa Dash which was in aid of East Cheshire Hospice. We’ll update you next week on how much we raised.
