Headteacher’s Notes 13th June

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. As we move towards the end of the school year, there is a real sense of energy and purpose across the school.

Our Year 11 students are now completing the last of their exams. Their final day is nearly here and we are looking forward to celebrating their time with us at the leavers’ assembly next Monday. This is always a significant event in the school calendar. There is something incredibly special about the signing of shirts, the final words of wisdom from Mr Pilbury, the last tutor time, etc. This is a bittersweet milestone as we say goodbye to a wonderful group of students who have contributed so much to school life. The hall will be full of laughter, plenty of tears (no doubt from me!), and the recollection of many fond memories. We also look forward to celebrating with them at the Year 11 Prom on Thursday 19th June.
