Headteacher’s Notes 6th March

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. What a week it has been at Tytherington School, with a number of events focused on helping students think about the future.

On Wednesday we held our World of Work Fair, where students in Years 7–9 had the opportunity to meet around twenty local employers from a wide range of industries. Events like this help young people begin to connect what they learn in school with the world beyond the classroom. So many of the employers commented on the confidence and good manners of our students. I am extremely grateful to the businesses and professionals who gave up their time to speak to our students and share insights into their careers.
