Headteacher’s Notes 6th November

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. It has been a busy first week back after the half-term break. Highlights have included our Year 9 Mandarin Intensive Day and our annual Key Stage 5 CSI Day, where students are presented with a crime scene and use forensic science to work out what has happened. Our Year 11 students have also been completing their English and Maths mock assessments. These are an important opportunity to demonstrate their progress and identify priorities for the months ahead. On Thursday, we held our Year 12 Parents’ Evening, while earlier in the week we hosted a Parent Information Evening ahead of the forthcoming CERN trip for Year 12 Physics students. In this week’s edition, you can also read about our Halloween Bake Off competition.
