Headteacher’s Notes 13th September

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. What an eventful day! As you may have seen or experienced, there was a power cut in the SK10 region which meant that we had to close the school. I would like to thank the staff and students for their calmness and patience.

Anyway, welcome to the second edition of the Headteacher’s Notes for this year. This is our weekly newsletter which aims to give you a taste of what has been going on in school over the last 5 days. A big well done to Year 7 who have completed their very first full week of secondary school. I’ve been incredibly impressed by how well the Year 7s have stepped up to the challenge of learning new subjects as well as the way in which they have been willing to step out of their comfort zone to make new friends.
