Headteacher’s Notes 16th October
Dear Families,
I hope you are well. Thank you for taking the time to catch up on what we have been up to this week.
There has been plenty of energy in school once again. Our Sixth Form Geography students have returned from their trip to Iceland, where they had the opportunity to see some of the extraordinary landscapes and geographical processes they have been learning about in the classroom. On Tuesday, we held our first Lecture Day of the academic year, while Thursday saw us welcome Year 11 families into school for Parents’ Evening. With GCSE examinations getting ever closer, it was a useful opportunity to discuss progress and the work ahead.
