Headteacher’s Notes 23rd October

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. Thank you for taking the time to catch up on what we have been up to this week. There has been plenty of energy in school as we approach the half-term break. Our Year 10 students have explored positive masculinity in their Personal Development lessons. We also had a group of Year 10s attend the careers fair at Macclesfield College. We have celebrated students receiving their Mandarin hurdle test certificates in year assemblies and welcomed Year 6 pupils for the Macclesfield primary school football competition. Our Year 13 Parents’ Evening provided an opportunity to discuss progress and prepare for the months ahead. It was also fabulous to see auditions and rehearsals start for our Christmas Pantomime. It is really pleasing to see so many Year 7s taking part.
