Headteacher’s Notes 25th October

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. Welcome to the final edition of Headteacher’s Notes before the half-term break. You can read about many of our achievements this week in today’s edition. As is typical, our students have been involved in a range of activities. Sixth Formers taking the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) have been giving presentations on their research. The topics have ranged from the technological impact of NASA’s space program to the effects of imperialism in Latin America! It has been fascinating to watch students tackle and present on such complex topics. We held our termly Lecture day on Wednesday and there was a History Trip to the Imperial War Museum. There was also a Work Experience Assembly for our Year 10 students. I’m sure you’ll agree that this has been an exciting end to the first half-term.
