Headteacher’s Notes 25th September

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. Thank you for joining me for another celebration of a week in the life of Tytherington.

There has been a real energy around school this week. Our Key Stage 3 netball teams have been representing Tytherington, Year 8 students have started their electives, and we have welcomed parents and carers of our current Year 7 and Year 8 students for tours during the school day.

Congratulations to Molly Rowlands, a Year 13 student in our Sixth Form, who entered the CPRE (Campaign to Protect Rural England) Cheshire Centenary Photography Competition after seeing it in this newsletter. Her photograph of a butterfly won the 13–17 age group in the Hedgerow Life category. Molly was invited to the CPRE AGM at Willington Hall Hotel on 22 September to mark her achievement. Well done, Molly.
