Headteacher’s Notes 2nd October

Dear Families,

There has been a real buzz around school this week, with our Open Mornings and Open Evening giving us the opportunity to welcome families who are considering Tytherington for their children. I always enjoy these events, particularly the conversations with visitors and the chance to see our school through fresh eyes.

For many families, this is the beginning of a significant decision. Prospectuses, presentations and websites have their place, but walking around a school helps you answer some of the questions that matter most. Would my child be happy here? Would someone notice if they were struggling? Would they be encouraged to aim high? Could they find their place?
