Headteacher’s Notes 6th September
Dear Families,
I hope this message finds you well. I’m excited to welcome you to the first edition of this year’s Headteacher’s Notes. For those of you who are new to our school community, this is our weekly newsletter, shared every Friday, to keep you informed about what’s been happening at school and to highlight upcoming activities, clubs, and opportunities for our students.
It’s been wonderful to see the school come back to life this week and I know that it will be another fantastic year. The highlight for me has been welcoming our new Year 7 students who started their secondary school journey on Wednesday. The theme of the welcome assembly was the importance of our school mission. We talked about what it means to be part of an ambitious school at the heart of the community. In simple terms we expect everyone to give their best, to get stuck into the many opportunities that are available to them at Tytherington and to be respectful of others who are part of our community.
