Yr 7&8 and Yr 9&10 Awards Evenings

The annual Tytherington School Awards Evenings took place on Monday 13th July. During two separate events we celebrated the achievements our Yr 7 & 8 and Yr 9 & 10 students.  

Each evening began with an address from Mr Botwe. This was followed by the presentation of individual subject awards for both Outstanding Progress and Outstanding Achievement. The final awards of the evening, The Rotary Student of the Year, The Matthew Caine Award for Determination to Succeed in Mathematics, The Guy Wharton Award for Endeavour and the Headteachers Awards were presented by each Head of Year. The school would like to pay particular thanks to The Macclesfield Lions who generously donated funds towards the Awards Evenings.  

All students who attended the evening were worthy winners and it was a privilege to be part of an event that enabled school staff and family members to come together to proudly recognise and celebrate our students on their achievements. With over 300 people attending each Awards Evening, it was a stark reminder of the importance of coming together as a school community and a fitting way to end the academic year.
