Headteacher’s Notes 16th January

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. What a week it has been. We began the week still buzzing from the incredible result in the FA Cup — Macclesfield FC’s historic win against the holders, Crystal Palace. For many, it was the ultimate underdog story. The win was a powerful reminder of what belief, resilience and shared purpose can achieve. It showed what happens when people come together for a common purpose. Thank you to everyone who has shared their pictures from the historic event. The joy and pride captured in those images says everything about what this result meant to our town. You can find a montage in this week’s edition. We were delighted to receive a fantastic set of photos from the match, kindly sent in by students and parents.
