Headteacher’s Notes 17th October

Dear Families,

It has been another lively and purposeful week at Tytherington. On Wednesday we were delighted to host our Primary School Sports Festival, where children from local schools enjoyed a morning of sport and teamwork — brilliantly supported by our students and PE team. It was a joy to see so many young people engaging with the spirit of the game and beginning what we hope will be a long relationship with the school. This week also saw plenty of sports fixtures for our own teams, and the students did us proud. Meanwhile, our Electives programme continues to thrive with students taking part in a range of wider curricular pursuits from music and cookery to debating and design — helping students uncover new interests and build confidence outside the classroom.
