Headteacher’s Notes 5th December

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. It has been another bustling and focused week at Tytherington School.

As I write, our Year 11 students — alongside a record number of external applicants — are taking part in our Sixth Form Taster Day. This is a great opportunity for students to explore the wide range of subjects and enrichment opportunities we offer in our Sixth Form. It has been fantastic to see so many young people asking insightful questions and imagining the next steps in their academic journeys. It is a particularly exciting time for our Sixth Form as the building work is well under way for the new block which should be ready for next autumn.
