Year 5 Marlborough pupils took part in a Roald Dahl inspired writing workshop where they read an extract from the BFG to inspire them to create their own weird and wacky creatures. Mrs Healey (Transition Coordinator) said ” I was impressed with the pupils literacy knowledge and how they used adjectives and imagery to create fantastic descriptions of their own made up creatures.  See the winning designs in the first edition of “Moving Up” (Tytherington’s new KS2 Newsletter).
