Design and Technology Technician/Learning Facilitator

Salary: Grade 6: £19,009.30 -£21,171 per annum (£22,129-£24,645 FTE)

Hours of Work: 37 per week, 08:00 – 16:00 Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 15:30 Friday.

Weeks per Year: 39 weeks per year (term time; plus 5 inset days).

Pension: Local Government contributory scheme

General

We require all support staff to take part in the development of support services as a resource for the whole school in supporting the aims and objectives of the school development plan. Each of the support teams is structured to provide the opportunity for career development.

Learning Mentor

Salary: Grade 4:15 – 4:17 – £14,351 –£14,834 (£19,020 – £19,660 FTE)

Hours of Work: 32.5 per week. Monday – Friday (Term-time plus 5 INSET days)
Holiday entitlement: 25 days per annum; rising to 30 days per annum after 5 years’ service

Site Maintenance Officer

Salary: Grade 4:15 – 4:17 £19,020 – £19,660 per annum

Hours of Work: The standard work pattern for this post is 37 hours per week (full year).
Holiday entitlement: 25 days per annum; rising to 30 days per annum after 5 years’ service
Standard shift pattern: This will be subject to change regularly in line with the needs of the school and will be determined by the Site Manager.
The successful applicant must therefore be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends. The postholder must also be able to provide cover, as required, for other members of the team and to respond to out of hours emergencies.
Pension: Local Government contributory scheme

About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual to join our Site Maintenance team.  The postholder will be responsible for the security and maintenance of the premises and its contents; including being a registered key holder.  They will ensure that the lighting and heating systems are in good working condition and undertake minor repairs and porterage duties.
