The ESAA National Championships are the 4th largest athletics event in the World. Nearly all the UK athletes who will compete in the World Championships this summer would have featured in the ESAA Championships. We were very proud to have Year 10 student Chloe Newbigging competing in the 300 meters and Jacob Thompson competing in the High Jump. Jacob eventually finished in 3rd place recording a hugely impressive jump of 1.84 meters. With a few more competitions left this summer Jacob has targeted jumping over 1.90 meters!
