Headteacher’s Notes

Dear Families,

I hope you are well. We very much appreciate you giving us 15 minutes of your time every week to take a look at what has been happening in school this week. Year 11s took their first all-cohort examination this morning. Well done to everyone involved, including parents who work so hard to support the youngsters. Great to see the Year 7 and 8 Drama group led by Ms Moore bravely taking on Shakespeare’s The Tempest.
They gave a tremendous after school performance to family and friends. I know they have been working on the performance for many weeks and this is now firmly embedded in the school’s calendar as a major event. We were delighted to welcome back former student Lewis Murch to talk to some of our Computer Scientists about Artificial Intelligence. Lewis is currently working on AI code in the Astrophysics department at the University of Cambridge.
